Erza S x Male Reader | Reunion | ONE-SHOT

I sort of have a block at the moment, so that’s why chapter 4 of the series isn’t out yet! Sorry about that, but I hope you enjoy this one-shot just as much

‘Is… Is this the end?’

Erza found herself in an extremely difficult situation; not only was she almost out of magic power, but she also had three over-sized wolves, who were terrorising a small village, charging towards her. Each wolf was a good 4 times larger and wider than the average wild wolf, and they seem to harbour magic power of their own as well.

‘Of… Of course it isn’t! I…I have too much to live for!’

Erza tried to stand up, but the pain forced her back down to one knee. As the wolves closed in, Erza closed her eyes and waited. She waited for them to tear her to shreds. However, she opened her eyes and the sound of something jumping directly infront of her.

“Just like the old times, aye Erza?” She recognised the voice instantly and her eyes widened, “You screw up and I have to save you…”

“[F-First name]?”

He didn’t respond, instead he decided to lunge at one of the wolves, drawing his twin swords mid-air, and slicing it in half. The attack was fast, so fast that Erza barely had time to blink. He made fast work of the other two as well before walking back over to Erza and offering his hand.

Once Erza was standing again, [First name] asked; “So Erza,” he began, “I seem to remember you being pretty damn strong, so how did you lose to a couple of wild animals?”

“First of all, there were at least 50 of them! Second, they weren’t normal wolves, they could grow in size at will!”

[First name] looked surprised, “You took down 47 of those things?”

“That’s right!”

“You’re just as strong as I remember, Hehehe”

Erza found herself smiling, before wrapping her arms around [First name] who now had the slightest blush on his face. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close, “It’s so good to see you again, Erza…”

“It’s been way too long!”

The two pulled away and looked at each other, smiling. [First name] and Erza went way back, they first met when the two were members of Fairy Tail as children. After a few years, however, [First name] left the guild to pursue his own life path.

“So [First name], how has life treated you since leaving Fairy Tail?”

“It’s treated me well, Erza. I have my own house, I’m at a well-respected guild, and I’m finally reunited with a good friend” He turned to smile at Erza, who’s face turned red slightly as she smiled back.

“I’m glad as well” Without thinking, she moved the back of her hand gently down his cheek. [First name] now looked like a tomato.

“W-w-w-what the hell are you doing?”

“Do you…” She seemed to rethink what she was about to say for a second before mustering the courage to come out with it, “Do you remember when I used to follow you around so much as a kid?”

[First name] was confused as hell right now, “Yeah…”

“Do you know why I did it?”

“I assumed it was because you were secretly a vampire who only came after my blood because it was the tastiest?”

“What?! No!” Erza squinted in confusion, not quite understanding how he came to that conclusion, “I… I sort of liked you back then.”

[First name] was silent for a short while before answering back, “I… Kind of, or may have, liked you a little bit back then as well.”

“You did? What, eh, about, um, now?” Her face was even redder than her hair at this point.

[First name] shrugged, “Seeing you again has brought back old feelings, that’s all I’ll say.”

The two walked for around a mile in silence. Erza eventually broke the silence with three words, “I love you…”

“Huh?”

“You heard me, I won’t repeat it!”

“Fine… I like you too.”

Erza smiled, “Good.”

“Do you remember how mischievous I was as a kid?”

Erza sighed, “Please don’t remind me!”

“Well, I wonder what your guild will think of a wizard from,” [First name] revealed his Sabertooth emblem, “Sabertooth having to save one of their S-class wizards!” He sprinted away as fast as he could, giggling like a school girl.

“GET THE HELL BACK HERE!”
