Ignoring all of Nero’s protests [First name] ran towards the place that the Mermaid Heel guild members were staying in. He didn’t necessarily know what he wanted from them, but he would be causing hell regardless.
Dark-violet coloured balls of energy surrounded his fists as he edged closer to the hotel. He’d been running for so long that it felt as though there was acid filling his lungs, though in his anger he ignored it and continued.
“There… It… Is…”
He picked up the pace, and got his right fist ready to smash down the huge wooden doors that separated him from his targets. When he was only a few inches away, he swung his fist at the doors. When his fist collided, there was a loud explosion, and the doors and most of the entrance wall flew to the opposite side of the building, smashing into various wizards and sending them flying back too.
“Who the hell-?” The female mage was quickly cut off as a fist collided with her face, sending her back into the rubble.
“W-Who are you?!”
“I swear, you’re in big trouble, mister!”
[First name] steadied himself and took a good look at the destruction he had caused, it made him smile, especially since he had only used two punches.
“Heh, I’m stronger than I realised…” He said with a smile.
“WHAT?! What the hell do you want with us?!”
“I’d like to know that as well…” [First name] flinched when he heard the voice of none other than the strongest female mage in Fiore. She had the angry look of a woman who had just found out that her husband had been cheating on her for two years, “If I were you I’d speak now!”
“Well, I’m so glad that the main crowd has decided to join us!” [First name] joked, staring at the other four girls standing around her, the same ones that were taking part in the Grand Magic Games.
[First name] sighed, “I think you know why I’m here…”
“Why the hell would we have any idea of why you’ve just destroyed our hotel!” Risley shouted, looking ready to attack at any moment.
Kagura interrupted, “You’ve had it in for us all day, then you come here and smash the place up, attack my guild mates, and you won’t even tell us why you did it? You’d better start talking, because you’re beginning to test my patience!”
“Well would you mind explaining why your pathetic little guild decided to attack my teammate and throw his body into a hedge?”
“What the hell are you talking about?!”
[First name] grabbed the spider webs, which somehow managed to stay intact through everything, the carrots, and the headband. “I know it was you, here’s evidence from Nero’s position.”
Kagura’s eyes widened, and the others were shocked. Kagura turned to them and asked, “Is there something you’re not telling me?”
“N-No!” All three of the accused girls shouted.
“I was wondering where my headband went…” Risley said, looking in shock as she felt around the part of her head where her headband usually is.
[First name] threw it at her, “There you go fatass, take your stupid headband back!”
“Hey, don’t underestimate the power of chubby!”
“They said they didn’t do it,” Kagura began, “So that means that they didn’t do it! Now don’t make this situation worse, if you leave now than I will forget this ever happened.”
[First name] walked over slowly, “I said no! There’s no chance I’m letting you get away with hurting my friend like that!”
Kagura approached quickly, until the two were face to face, “You don’t want to test my patience any further, believe me!”
There was a long glaring session between the two; other members of Mermaid Heel watched on, worried that a fight was about to break out, until…
“That’s quite enough out of you two.”
The two turned to the entrance to see the tall, hooded wizard Terryal. He raised his scythe in the air slightly and it was surrounded by a black aura, then the rubble at the back of their hotel began to shake violently before flying past the crowd and stacking themselves back in their original position on the front of the building.
Once he had finished there, he turned his attention to the girls who were lying on the ground unconscious. The same dark aura that surrounded Terryal’s scythe was now surrounding their bodies, and within seconds they were on their feet again, fully healed of any wounds.
“How did you find me?” [First name] inquired, “And why did you come after me?”
“Well, I don’t want Shadow Tear to be disqualified because of your stupidity. And it’s not hard to find somebody who can’t control his magic energy when he’s angry… Kagura, is it?”
Kagura nodded her head, “That’s me.”
“Well, how about we forget this whole incident? Besides, no harm was done, right?”
Kagura thought for a moment, “If any of your members attacks us like this again, I will end their lives right then and there. Understood?”
With that, the two began to exit the guild. [First name] turned to look at the four other girls who all had their guards up, waiting for the two to leave. “Just so you know, you girls aren’t safe just yet, if we are to face each other in the Grand Magic Games, let me assure you that whatever pain you caused Nero, your pain will be a million times worse.” [First name] turned and left along with Terryal, leaving the all-female guild members to cringe at the venom in his voice.
The events of that night, unbeknownst to everybody else, sparked not only a rivalry between two guilds, but a deadly rivalry between two of the strongest fighters in the games.
